Angelica Vale
Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also often referred to professionally as Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American artist, performer-singer comic, radio host and comedian. She was born in Mexico City, where she was raised by the comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she was credited with launching her own La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre. It topped charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin singer to sell 2 million copies of her music across the United States. The year 1974 was the time she began dating Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale, whom she got married in April 1975. This was the first marriage to be televised in Mexico.
